No Clark County Three-Day Feed
No official CCDC rolling 24-hour release list was identified. The Clark County inmate search describes its data as in-custody information and updates it periodically. It gives no released-person archive, retention window, release-reason filter, or fixed update cadence. A name disappearing from that roster is a lead, not proof of community release.
Clark County is also not a one-jail system. Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas run separate detention operations. Mesquite has its own municipal custody path, and Boulder City misdemeanor detainees may be held at Henderson. A true three-day check must identify the final custodian before searching. Otherwise, a no-result may only mean the wrong jail was queried.
Check Clark County Releases Today
The fastest reliable route combines a current-custody check with direct confirmation. Gather the full name, date of birth if appropriate, inmate or booking ID, case number, and likely facility. CCDC permits a search with an inmate ID, Justice Court case number, or at least two surname letters, though more letters narrow results.
- Search the correct jail’s current system to see whether custody is still reported.
- For CCDC, call 702-671-3900 for the most current release or transfer answer.
- Ask for the actual release date, time, disposition, and destination, not merely whether the name is absent.
- Check the correct court docket for the order or case event that explains the release.
- Use LVMPD Public Records or a Letter of Incarceration when a durable record is needed.
- If the disposition is transfer, continue with NDOC, another jail, BOP, ICE, or the named receiver.
The Clark County released inmate search gives the full named-person path. For a broader three-day reconstruction, use the Released Last 72 Hours process.
Clark County Three-Day Release Fields
Because there is no public three-day feed, these are fields to request from the record custodian. Not every office uses the same labels. Ask for an existing booking and movement record rather than asking staff to create a narrative.
| Field | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Full name and booking ID | Links the event to the correct booking |
| Actual release date and time | Places the exit within the 72-hour window |
| Releasing facility | Identifies which jail completed the movement |
| Release disposition | May state bond, time served, court order, parole, or transfer |
| Destination or receiving agency | Distinguishes community release from continued custody |
| Case and order number | Connects the gate event to legal authority |
Charges, bail, and unit-assignment data from a live roster do not substitute for these release fields. A court order supplies legal authority, while the detention movement record shows physical exit.
CCDC Release Record Request
For a CCDC booking, use the LVMPD public-records process. A narrow request should identify the person, approximate booking range, inmate or booking ID, and case number. Ask for the existing booking and release or movement record, including actual date and time, disposition, destination, and any later correction.

A Letter of Incarceration request can go to dsdrsuc@lvmpd.com with a usable email or mailing address. Ask expressly whether booked and released dates can be certified. The official page promises no fixed fields, fee, eligibility rule, or turnaround, so do not assume one. Nevada law generally requires an agency response by the end of the fifth business day, but that may be access, denial authority, custodian routing, or a written completion estimate.
Why Clark Release Data Persists
CCDC’s online roster is short-lived, but the underlying record can last far longer. Nevada’s local-government retention schedule, LRDA 2007-828, preserves jail inmate case files containing entry and release records, transfers, orders, fingerprints, mugshots, work-release documents, and prerelease agreements for 85 calendar years after release or transfer, or until confirmed death, whichever comes first. A legal hold can extend that period.
The same schedule lists jail registers with release or transfer dates at five years, release orders at three years after release with a copy in the inmate file, and current rosters at 90 days after update. Those rules set retention floors. They do not require online publication or override juvenile, sealed, protective, security, or personal-information limits.
This difference is the reason a targeted archive request can succeed even when a name vanished from the public screen. Cite the booking and date range, and ask the correct agency for the smallest set of records that answers the question.
Clark County Weekend Release Window
A 72-hour reconstruction is useful after weekends and holidays because several kinds of records move on different clocks. A jail can process a physical exit while a court minute is not yet easy to locate online. A roster can update after the person leaves. Records staff may not answer a nonurgent request until the next business day. None of those lags creates an official three-day list.
Work backward from the current time and state the exact start and end of the requested window. For example, ask for movements from a named date and time through another named date and time. Calendar dates alone can miss an overnight event or count more than 72 hours. Include the facility and booking ID so the custodian does not have to guess which episode is meant.
If the period crosses multiple facilities, make separate checks. A Friday CCDC transfer followed by a Sunday NDOC movement is not one community release. Preserve both event descriptions in order.
Rebuild Clark County Three-Day Releases
The absence of a feed means a broad list request should still be narrow enough to identify an existing record. Ask whether the custodian maintains a jail register or movement report for the exact interval. Nevada’s retention schedule specifically recognizes jail registers that include release or transfer dates, although it does not require public online display.
- Define the exact 72-hour start and end timestamps.
- Separate CCDC, Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Mesquite custody.
- Ask each proper custodian for an existing release or movement register for that interval.
- Request disposition and destination fields so transfers are not counted as community exits.
- Compare questionable entries with court minutes and the receiving agency.
Agencies may redact protected fields or withhold confidential records. Juvenile and protected-custody details require special care. A useful response may be a register, individual records, a fee estimate, custodian routing, or a lawful denial, rather than the public web table a requester first imagined.
Other Clark Release Channels
A state prisoner’s same-day event belongs to NDOC, not the county roster. The NDOC offender portal offers separate Booking, Parole, and Release downloads. Match them with the official offender ID. An event labeled parole, residential placement, or transfer has a different meaning from discharge.
NV S.A.V.E. can search people in participating Nevada custody or supervision systems and deliver alerts. It is a useful prompt, but its data is periodic and not official. A no-result does not prove release. Call 1-866-393-5445 for registration help.
Federal BOP and ICE systems apply only when a real federal or immigration custody event exists. A transfer to either is continued detention. For city misdemeanor matters, use the city detention office and municipal court. The proper channel is always tied to the custodian, not merely to Clark County geography.
Released Versus Still Held
The live CCDC search can establish reported current custody. It cannot supply a complete list of releases over three days. A release or movement record can show actual exit, while a court docket explains the legal order. NDOC data covers state prison movements and supervision. Each source answers a different question.
| Status question | Best source |
|---|---|
| Still at CCDC? | CCDC live search and 702-671-3900 |
| Actually left CCDC today? | CCDC information and LVMPD movement record |
| Why was release authorized? | Correct court docket and minutes |
| Transferred to state custody? | NDOC offender and booking data |
| Released under supervision? | NDOC release description, NPP, and court |
Absence alone remains ambiguous. It may reflect release, transfer, another city jail, protected status, juvenile status, a spelling mismatch, or an update lag.
Timestamp Clark Release Checks
Record the time each portal was checked. CCDC says its data is subject to change, while S.A.V.E. and NDOC warn that public information is periodic or raw. A timestamp explains why a Monday result may differ from a Saturday call. The originating office remains the best source for a durable event record.
When an interval crosses agencies, preserve the movements in order. A CCDC transfer to NDOC followed by a later NDOC parole event is not one jail release. The destination and later event decide whether the person returned to the community within the chosen 72 hours.
